Location: Findlay, OH (local candidates only, no relocation offered) | Schedule: Full-time, on-site, Monday–Friday 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (arrive 15 minutes early/stay 15 minutes after; weekend overtime as needed) | Compensation: Competitive pay plus bonus potential, paid overtime after 40 hours, and comprehensive benefits

Overview

An established manufacturing operation is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to take ownership of daily floor operations. This is a high-visibility, fully floor-based leadership role reporting to the Production Manager, ideal for a proven team lead ready to step into supervision or an experienced leader who thrives on the shop floor, driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Meet and track production requirements and metrics
• Lead shift start-up meetings and attend other meetings as needed
• Communicate with 1st and 3rd shift production supervisors during shift changes
• Follow the production schedule and make adjustments when necessary
• Train, coach, mentor, and evaluate the hourly workforce to improve performance
• Ensure all necessary training is completed for new and current staff
• Review and verify shift paperwork and production numbers for accuracy
• Confirm time sheets, vacation requests, and time-off records in the timekeeping system
• Ensure shift safety, quality, and delivery targets are consistently met
• Conduct performance reviews for line leaders and production employees
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements
• Handle disciplinary actions and support HR-related functions
• Perform other duties as directed by management

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least a year of experience overseeing others in a manufacturing environment
• Experience overseeing 10–15 people at a time
• Microsoft Office experience, including BASIC Excel skills
• Must be local to the Findlay, OH area; no relocation offered

Preferred qualifications

• Production scheduling experience
• ERP experience
• Non-union supervision experience
