Overview
An established, physician-focused medical group in northern Metro Atlanta is seeking an experienced Board Certified Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join a premier outpatient clinic. This role offers a patient-first, unhurried practice environment where a clinician steps directly into a dedicated care pod with an established patient intake, leading a collaborative team of health coaches, behavioral health specialists, dietitians, and care coordinators to deliver personalized, preventive care without the pressures of traditional volume-driven medicine.
What you'll do
- Deliver comprehensive, relationship-focused outpatient medical care with an emphasis on disease prevention, lifestyle medicine, and long-term wellness
- Assume leadership of an active clinical pod and manage care for a dedicated intake of patients
- Direct care workflows alongside dedicated on-site nursing and administrative support staff
- Participate in an equitable, low-volume after-hours phone triage schedule shared among group colleagues
- Coordinate patient care across an integrated multidisciplinary network, including clinical specialists, health coaches, and integrative medicine professionals
- Maintain thorough, accurate medical record documentation in compliance with clinical quality standards
- Build lasting patient partnerships through extended visit times and individualized care planning
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited U.S. medical school (MD or DO)
- Board Certified in General Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted Georgia Medical License required (or active state license eligible for immediate state endorsement)
- 5 to 20 years of direct outpatient primary care experience required
- Strong commitment to relationship-based medicine, patient advocacy, health optimization, and preventive clinical outcomes
- Offers contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment credentialing, Georgia state medical board verification, active DEA confirmation, and background checks
Compensation and benefits
