Overview
A regional single-family home builder with a small-company feel but strong corporate support infrastructure is seeking a Project Manager / Superintendent to lead new custom-home construction in the Monroe, NC / Charlotte, NC area. This builder operates across multiple offices in numerous states, focusing on semi-custom homes built directly with local clients, and offers a stable, long-term career path for the right candidate.
What you'll do
- Maintain constant, proactive communication with customers and subcontractors to ensure top-tier satisfaction
- Manage construction sites from the design and pre-construction phase through subcontractor selection, contract execution, safety oversight, and scheduling through closeout
- Ensure budgets and schedules are met while closely monitoring construction quality
Required qualifications
- Experience in residential construction
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (typically 8-10) with average home prices ranging up to $525-625k
- 4+ year proven track record of successful operations and project leadership within new home construction
- Strong team-building skills and excellent communication abilities with customers and owners
Preferred qualifications
- Experience preferably in On-Your-Lot or scattered lot building
Compensation and benefits
- Competitive salary of $80,000-$90,000 (DOE), with bonus per home and potential total compensation of $100k++ per year
