Overview
A top-ranked hospital system in a scenic rural setting, within easy reach of a major city, is seeking a Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant to join its growing healthcare team. What you'll do
- Provide patient care in a physician office setting
- Assist providers and staff in coordinating patient care
- Serve as a primary liaison between patients, families, staff, and providers
- Support one of several specialty areas, including internal medicine, Rheumatology, Electrophysiology, OB Gyn, Digestive Disease, Heart/Lung/Vascular, Family Practice, and others
- Work with the EPIC EMR system
Required qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant through an appropriate board (e.g., American Association of Medical Assistants), or
- Registered through an appropriate board (e.g., American Registry of Medical Assistants)
Compensation and benefits
- Salary range of $36K-44K depending on experience
