Overview
A prominent international law firm is seeking a talented Junior Associate Attorney to join its Finance Practice Group, focusing on Corporate Trust matters, in its Charlotte office. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated capital markets transactions within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on structured finance matters, including capital markets transactions and related agreements
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents for a variety of structured finance deals
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across practice groups to provide comprehensive support on complex transactions
- Maintain direct client interaction and contribute to the growth of the firm's finance practice
Required qualifications
- JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials
- Active Bar Admission in North Carolina, in good standing
- 2–3 years of substantive experience in a variety of capital markets transactions, particularly focused on structured finance
- Strong drafting and negotiation abilities
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
