Overview

A school-based services provider is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support student communication development in a school setting in Mobile, AL. This role plays an important part in helping students build the communication skills they need to succeed.

What you'll do

  • Help implement speech and language treatment plans designed by an SLP
  • Provide direct therapy services to students
  • Assist in screening students' communication skills
  • Document and report on students' progress and therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on student progress and needs

Required qualifications

  • SLPA with a valid state license to practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic about helping students reach their full potential

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience working in schools is a plus
