Overview
A leading management-side labor and employment AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney for its Atlanta office. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator to handle sophisticated employment matters in a collaborative, high-performing environment that exclusively represents management in an evolving employment landscape.
What you'll do
- Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters, from inception through resolution, including single-plaintiff and complex disputes
- Represent management in employment-related claims before state and federal courts and administrative agencies
- Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, and participate in depositions and hearings
- Advise clients on day-to-day employment issues and risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop litigation strategy and deliver practical, business-oriented solutions
Required qualifications
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing
- 3-8 years of substantive labor and employment law experience
- Significant experience in employment litigation, including matters in state and federal courts
- Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within team-based environments
Preferred qualifications
- Experience gained at a large or well-regarded law firm preferred
Compensation and benefits
- Competitive salary range: $200,000 – $315,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses
