Overview
A school-based services provider is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support student communication development in a school setting in Mobile, AL. This role plays an important part in helping students build the communication skills they need to succeed.
What you'll do
- Help implement speech and language treatment plans designed by an SLP
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Assist in screening students' communication skills
- Document and report on students' progress and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on student progress and needs
Required qualifications
- SLPA with a valid state license to practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic about helping students reach their full potential
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience working in schools is a plus
