Overview
A major manufacturing employer in the greater East Tennessee area is seeking an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to join its high-volume, fast-paced production operation. The facility blends state-of-the-art automation with manual processes, and this role will play a key part in advancing automation efforts across production lines.
What you'll do
- Support projects aimed at further automating production lines
- Conduct process capability studies
- Develop and maintain control plans
- Prepare PFMEA documentation
- Write technical work instructions for equipment and processes
Required qualifications
- AS degree with at least 5 years of engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing (if BS Engineering degree not held)
Preferred qualifications
- BS Engineering degree preferred
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
