Overview

An established manufacturer of top-of-the-line products is seeking a full-time Engineering and Quality Manager to lead its engineering and quality teams and oversee significant manufacturing projects at its Michigan facility. This is a unique dual role combining quality and engineering leadership, offering the right candidate a competitive total rewards package. Relocation assistance is available.

What you'll do

• Lead all product development, manufacturing engineering, and quality engineering functions for the facility
• Oversee significant manufacturing projects, ensuring they meet production targets and support long-term growth
• Take the lead on product development, coordinating key strategic launches and working directly with customers to determine how best to meet their needs
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact
• Attend and lead meetings to keep projects on budget and drive continuous improvement
• Manage and develop engineering and quality staff, setting high performance standards and providing regular coaching
• Effectively delegate and assign work to maximize process efficiency and support team growth and development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, business administration, or a related field
• Experience in manufacturing processes along with product launch

Preferred qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience directing, managing, or supervising engineering functions is preferred

Compensation and benefits

• Competitive salary of $120k-155k
