Location: Vernon, TX (traveling), with an office in Irving, TX | Schedule: Full-time, on-site with travel | Compensation: Up to $230K++

Overview

A well-established general contracting firm specializing in large-scale data center construction is seeking a Project Executive to lead high-value projects from acquisition through completion. This role is critical to ensuring project profitability, client satisfaction, and adherence to corporate safety and quality standards across multiple concurrent data center builds.

What you'll do

• Generate leads through industry contacts and participate in the RFP process
• Participate in contract negotiations as needed
• Work with the Pre-Construction team to develop budgets and schedules
• Assemble and lead the project team, including a formal turnover meeting between Pre-Con and Project teams
• Ensure full understanding of and compliance with contract terms across the project team
• Visit project sites regularly to monitor performance
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the project team
• Maintain full understanding of Accounts Receivable, financial forecasting, and P&L for each project
• Assist project staff with baseline schedule development
• Support project teams in implementing Lean/Last Planner processes
• Champion the project safety program and performance
• Attend owner and project meetings, maintaining continuous client communication

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
• 15+ years of GC experience
• Multiple medium to large data center project experience ($100M+) is required
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including judgment on when to escalate issues
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Strong working knowledge of contract terms and legal provisions affecting project profitability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and clients
• A proven track record of motivating project teams to exceed project goals
• Effective negotiation and contract management skills to represent the company with the Owner
• Self-motivated and self-confident
• Ability to develop client relationships to secure future work
• Ability to recruit and build a project team
• Alignment with core values of safety, integrity, passion, and commitment

Compensation and benefits

• Salary range up to $230K++
