Location: Hobart, IN | Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, flexible schedule, 1:7 call rotation | Compensation: $450k–$615k per year
Overview
A well-established and expanding healthcare provider in Northwest Indiana, recognized as a technologically advanced health system, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join its growing team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to build a practice centered on physician well-being and work-life balance within a premier, tech-forward clinical environment.
What you'll do
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary (liver) disorders
- See 20-30 clinic patients per day
- See 10-15 hospital patients per day
- Participate in a 1:7 call rotation
- Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in outpatient and hospital settings to diagnose and treat digestive diseases
- Manage a high-volume clinical practice, coordinating longitudinal care for chronic conditions like IBD and liver disease
- Collaborate with surgical and primary care teams to ensure integrated treatment plans and timely screenings
Required qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible, with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe
- Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
- Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Open to H-1B applicants who meet all federal requirements and possess an unrestricted Indiana medical license

- Compensation of $450k–$615k per year, highly competitive and negotiable per MGMA guidelines
