Location: Richmond, VA | Schedule: Full-time, on-site/field-based

Overview

An established, long-running industrial supply company that brings a fully stocked mobile store directly to customers across a wide range of industries—including transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, government, and heavy equipment—is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales growth within a defined geographic territory.

What you'll do

• Prospect and develop new sales opportunities through research, referrals, and outreach to businesses near existing customers
• Make face-to-face cold and warm sales calls
• Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and your mobile store
• Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of your mobile store vehicle
• Submit complete and accurate daily business reports covering sales orders and prospect calls
• Continually maintain accurate customer contact information—including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses—using company software

Required qualifications

• Must reside within the Richmond, VA territory; relocation is not available
• Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle
• Must maintain a clean driving history
• Must have the physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong, stable work history with no job hopping; ideally no more than 3 companies over the past 10 years
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment

Preferred qualifications

• Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales, is preferred
