Overview
A growing public accounting firm in Chandler, Arizona is seeking a Tax Manager to bring technical expertise, client service focus, and leadership to its expanding tax practice. This role is central to guiding complex tax engagements while mentoring the next generation of tax professionals.
What you'll do
- Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Lead client engagements and maintain strong, ongoing client relationships
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting for high-net-worth individuals and businesses
- Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff and seniors
- Research tax issues and present findings to clients and partners
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor in Accounting
- CPA license required
- 6+ years of recent public accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong technical knowledge in individual, corporate, and partnership taxation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with tax research tools and tax preparation software
- Commitment to client service and collaborative team success
Preferred qualifications
- Masters in tax a plus
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary of $120,000 - $150,000
