Overview
A top international law firm is seeking a Structured Credit & Collateralized Loan Obligations Associate Attorney to join its expanding Global Finance group. The team represents a diverse global client base, including major asset managers, equity investors, and leading CLO underwriters such as large investment and commercial banks, and is recognized as a premier structured credit practice.
What you'll do
- Advise on a wide range of structured finance and securitization matters, with a focus on CLOs
- Represent asset managers, equity investors, and underwriters in structuring and executing complex financial transactions
- Collaborate with a global team to deliver legal services in structured finance and capital markets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while advising clients on innovative financing solutions
Required qualifications
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
- Active Bar Admission in the State of New York
- 3+ years of substantive securitization and structured finance experience, or transactional experience with a strong desire to transition into Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs)
- Must submit a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript as part of the application
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience with private credit, CLOs, fund finance, NAV-based facilities, or subscription line credit facilities preferred but not required
- Large law firm experience strongly preferred
