Overview
A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Crypto Team, focusing on crypto and blockchain law. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with crypto and blockchain clients on sophisticated, high-profile matters at one of the most fast-paced legal practices in the industry.
What you'll do
- Advise crypto and blockchain clients on a range of legal matters
- Counsel clients on legal, regulatory, and compliance issues impacting crypto and blockchain business
- Provide guidance across practice areas including crypto litigation, crypto bankruptcy cases, product matters, regulatory advice, state licensing and trust charters, and enforcement defense
- Manage complex transactions, balancing multiple priorities with precision and efficiency
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver integrated client service
- Engage directly with partners and clients from the outset, offering strategic guidance and practical solutions
Required qualifications
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing
- 2–6 years of substantive crypto law experience at a law firm
- A strong background with prior relevant experience or a clear demonstrated interest in crypto law
- Excellent legal writing, verbal communication, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated professionalism with the ability to engage directly with high-profile clients and investors
- Highly organized, with proven ability to balance multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Collaborative team player who also thrives working independently

Preferred qualifications
- Experience in cryptocurrency-related litigation, products, regulatory advice, or government investigations is preferred
Compensation and benefits
- Competitive salary: $235,000 – $435,000, commensurate with class year and experience
