Overview
A technology company serving the high-speed electronics market is expanding its signal integrity team in the Campbell, CA area. This Signal Integrity Field Applications Engineer / Marketing Manager role blends hands-on engineering support with customer-facing marketing responsibilities, helping drive adoption of high-frequency and EMI-compliant solutions across the region and globally.
What you'll do
- Partner with customers nationwide to diagnose signal integrity challenges and recommend solutions backed by products, test data, and simulation results
- Work alongside engineering teams to refine designs for customer-specific applications while meeting high-frequency and EMI standards
- Drive research and development efforts that shape industry standards and track emerging trends in electronics
- Attend trade shows and technical symposiums to represent the company, lead technical conversations, and build industry relationships
- Produce technical documentation such as test reports and white papers to support sales and marketing initiatives
- Train internal sales teams on signal integrity principles and their relevance to product performance
- Collaborate with technology partners to evaluate new solutions that strengthen the customer offering
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in consumer electronics, enterprise computing, or high-speed datacom industries
- Proficiency with ANSYS HFSS or equivalent 3D FEM solvers, plus hands-on experience with high-speed lab equipment
- Solid grasp of signal integrity fundamentals and the analytical ability to troubleshoot high-speed systems
- Experience working with high-speed signals up to 224 Gbps
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with signal speeds up to 448 Gbps is a plus
- Familiarity with IEEE 802.3 specifications and tools like CST Microwave Studio and Keysight ADS is beneficial
- Knowledge of Python or C# is advantageous
