Location: Remote – Home Based in California, Arizona, or Nevada | Schedule: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Remote | Compensation: $95K-$105K base plus bonus opportunities

Overview

A growing interconnect solutions provider is expanding its Western region team and seeking a Field Applications Engineer to build customer relationships and drive revenue through technical expertise and support. This remote role plays a key part in advancing sales efforts across California, Arizona, and Nevada.

What you'll do

• Generate revenue by soliciting and acquiring orders within the West Region territory
• Collaborate with existing and prospective customers at the engineering level to understand technical needs and recommend suitable interconnect solutions
• Develop accounts to support the sales team's efforts and fully explore new business opportunities
• Drive sales growth in specified accounts and territories to meet assigned sales goals
• Leverage strong communication skills to advance sales initiatives
• Assist in identifying additional order opportunities within defined accounts
• Enhance technical expertise on products and applications to optimize sales efforts
• Communicate sales opportunities and provide technical support as necessary
• Participate in industry trade events as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in providing technical customer support
• At least 3 years of direct industry experience selling electronic components for medical devices or industrial markets
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
• Exceptional communication skills with a structured, self-motivated approach
• Fully remote position; candidates must reside in CA (preferred), AZ, or NV

• Competitive base salary of $95K-$105K, plus bonus opportunities
