Overview
An employee-owned architecture and engineering firm whose architects, interior designers, civil engineers, and building systems engineers collaborate within the same project teams is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer. The firm's work spans higher education, K-12, life sciences, technology, government, and workplace projects, and this role will contribute electrical design expertise across a variety of lab, school, university, and commercial/institutional building projects.
What you'll do
- Design power, lighting, and fire alarm systems for buildings
- Produce construction documents and perform supporting calculations
- Coordinate with architects and other engineers on the project team
- Work with utilities and contractors
- Support projects through construction administration
Required qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering
- 5 or more years of building electrical design experience
- Knowledge of building and electrical codes
- Experience with Revit
Preferred qualifications
- PE preferred, not required
