Overview

A prominent large law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its expanding Real Estate Practice in Tampa. This is an outstanding opportunity for a mid-level attorney to take on meaningful responsibility, work with a diverse client base, and gain hands-on experience in sophisticated real estate transactions.

What you'll do

  • Advise clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, and leasing
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including purchase agreements, financing documents, joint venture agreements, and leases
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on structuring complex real estate investments and developments
  • Collaborate with partners and other team members to manage client matters efficiently
  • Participate in all stages of transaction execution, from initial diligence to closing

Required qualifications

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
  • 2-6 years of substantive experience in real estate transactions
  • Demonstrated experience with loans, joint ventures, entity documents, and leases
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently on client matters and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience representing developers, owners, investors, and lenders in financing, development, and investment matters preferred
  • Prior practical business experience in the commercial real estate industry is a plus

Compensation and benefits

  • Expected annual salary range of $160,000-$200,000, as determined by experience and market factors
  • Eligibility for profit-sharing and a discretionary bonus
