Overview

A national law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Commercial Real Estate practice group. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-profile transactions spanning acquisitions, dispositions, and financing across a wide range of asset classes, collaborating with a skilled and collegial team.

What you'll do

  • Represent clients in commercial real estate purchases, sales, and financing transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, easements, and related transactional documents
  • Conduct and coordinate due diligence reviews, including analysis of title, survey, zoning, and other real estate-related matters
  • Assist with transaction structuring, negotiations, closings, and post-closing matters
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to provide comprehensive legal solutions for clients
  • Manage client communications and support the efficient execution of complex transactions

Required qualifications

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Texas, or Washington, D.C., in good standing
  • 3+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience
  • Experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions
  • Strong understanding of real estate transaction structures, due diligence, title and survey review, and closing processes
  • Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and collaborative teamwork

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior law firm experience strongly preferred

Compensation and benefits

  • Compensation: $220,000–$365,000, as determined by experience and market factors
  • Eligibility for multiple bonus opportunities
