Overview
An established outpatient psychiatry practice is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its behavioral health team. This role plays a key part in delivering comprehensive psychiatric care to a diverse patient population, working closely with psychiatrists and clinical staff to support patients' mental health needs.
What you'll do
- Provide behavioral health treatment for a wide variety of psychiatric disorders
- Treat patients across all age groups
- Assess patients' general mental health condition by collecting medical histories
- Administer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Identify issues that may be affecting a patient's state of mental health
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other team members to manage acute and long-term medical and psychiatric/mental health needs of patients
Required qualifications
- Certified as Physician Assistant in CA
- Bilingual Spanish

- Competitive salary of $155,000 to $205,000
