Overview
An established, highly regarded healthcare system in Northwest Indiana is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pain Medicine Physician to join its growing, physician-led group practice. Located just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, this role offers a subspecialty practice within a high-tech hospital infrastructure and strong work-life balance, supported by a collegial team of physicians offering mentorship as you build a practice tailored to your clinical goals.
What you'll do
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and medical/interventional treatment for adult patients presenting with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Perform a wide range of interventional pain procedures in outpatient and procedure suite settings
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary network of spine surgeons, neurologists, orthopedists, physical therapists, and primary care physicians
- Utilize cutting-edge clinical tools and modern EHR systems with AI-driven documentation enhancements
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and health system guidelines regarding controlled substance management and patient safety
- Participate in practice development and quality improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited US medical school (MD or DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine (via Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology subspecialty pathway)
- Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for state licensure within 90–120 days)
- Strong proficiency in interventional pain modalities, comprehensive patient assessment, and multidisciplinary care planning
