Overview

A rural Eastern Oregon Critical Access Hospital is seeking an Otolaryngologist (ENT) for a permanent, full-time position based in La Grande, OR. This is an on-site role offering professional autonomy, a supportive care team, and a schedule of Four 10-Hour Days.

What you'll do

• Perform comprehensive head and neck physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions of the ears, nose, sinuses, and throat
• Perform surgical procedures including tonsillectomies, sinus surgeries, and thyroidectomies
• Utilize specialized equipment like endoscopes to visualize the nasal passages and larynx
• Manage hearing and balance disorders through medical intervention or surgical implants
• Treat cancers of the head and neck, including the salivary glands and vocal cords
• Collaborate with audiologists and speech-language pathologists for integrated patient care
• Maintain detailed EMR documentation for a diverse patient population in a rural setting

What you'll need

• MD degree
• Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology residency program
• Current, unencumbered Oregon medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Otolaryngology
• Strong skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a community-oriented environment

Compensation and benefits

• Competitive base salary of $700K - $750K+ per year
• $50K commencement bonus
• $8,000 annual CME allowance, including licensing, dues, subscriptions, and paid CME time
