Location: La Grande, OR (Rural Eastern Oregon) | Schedule: Full-Time, Permanent, Four 10-Hour Days, Day Shift | Compensation: $700K - $750K+ per year

Overview

A growing Critical Access Hospital in rural Eastern Oregon is seeking an innovative and energetic Otolaryngologist to join a supportive, patient-focused practice. What you'll do

• Perform comprehensive head and neck physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions of the ears, nose, sinuses, and throat
• Perform surgical procedures including tonsillectomies, sinus surgeries, and thyroidectomies
• Utilize specialized equipment such as endoscopes, microscopes, videostroboscopy, Olympus towers, and distal chip fiber optic scopes to visualize the nasal passages and larynx
• Manage hearing and balance disorders through medical intervention or surgical implants
• Treat cancers of the head and neck, including the salivary glands and vocal cords
• Collaborate with audiologists and speech-language pathologists for integrated patient care, including in-office audiology services
• Maintain detailed EMR documentation for a diverse patient population in a rural setting

Required qualifications

• MD degree
• Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology residency program
• Current, unencumbered Oregon medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Otolaryngology
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality, community-oriented care

Compensation and benefits

• Competitive base salary of $700K - $750K+ per year
• $50K commencement bonus
• $8,000 annual CME allowance, including licensing, dues, subscriptions, and paid CME time
