Overview

An established and growing women's health practice in Dothan, Alabama is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN physician to join its team. The role blends outpatient clinic work, inpatient obstetric care, and gynecologic surgery, offering the opportunity to deliver exceptional, patient-focused care within a collaborative and supportive medical environment.

What you'll do

• Deliver comprehensive OB/GYN care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, covering prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Perform gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques
• Participate in labor and delivery coverage and obstetric call rotation
• Conduct annual exams, preventive care, and women's health screenings
• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of gynecologic conditions
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine, pediatrics, anesthesia, and nursing teams
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Alabama
• Strong clinical and surgical skills in OB/GYN practice
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
