Overview

A growing healthcare organization serving a community of roughly 25,000 people and a broader service area of about 77,000 is seeking a Nurse Educator to support the development of its nursing staff. This is an opportunity to join an expanding organization in a region known for its abundant sunshine and outdoor lifestyle, with a small airport and a university nearby.

What you'll do

  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and deliver orientation and educational programming to new and existing nursing staff
  • Oversee the nurse residency program
  • Facilitate and teach certification classes for Healthcare Providers, including ACLS, ACLS-OB, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and ENPC
  • Work closely with nursing managers, nursing staff, and education staff to support the development and maintenance of nursing skills through educational opportunities
  • Report to the CNO

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum 5 years nursing experience in acute care within the previous 7 years
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting nursing education

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field preferred
  • CPR and ACLS/PALS instructor status preferred

Compensation and benefits

  • full-time, salary exempt position
  • Salary range of $115K-$144K depending on experience
  • Full benefits package including relocation assistance (5K)
