Overview

An established, independently owned MEP engineering firm with a dedicated fire protection group and a busy data center practice is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join its mission critical team. The department is led by a long-tenured manager and has a deep, stable project pipeline. This is a notable opportunity for engineers who want to move into data center work but lack direct experience in that space, as the firm is willing to train the right candidate.

What you'll do

• Run your own fire protection projects from design through construction administration
• Work directly with clients
• Collaborate with a strong group of fire protection engineers as part of the mission critical team

Required qualifications

• 10 or more years of fire protection design experience at a consulting engineering firm
• Depth in suppression and alarm design

Preferred qualifications

• Data center experience is a plus, but training will be provided
