Overview
A stable, growing manufacturer with no history of layoffs is adding a Controls Project Engineer to its team. This role is responsible for prescribing, designing, and coordinating cost-effective, high-quality engineered solutions while supporting customer relationships.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with Sales Managers and end users to determine project specifications
- Prepare detailed quotes
- Create sales orders
- Establish and maintain project reports
- Design and oversee projects
- Assist in programming
- Develop test protocols
- Provide technical support
- Coordinate on-site installations
Required qualifications
- Associate Degree
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Experience with Rockwell Controls and AutoCAD
- Proficiency in CAD, CAE, and CAM
- Experience using automated engineering tools
- Limited travel - averages 6 weeks a year
- No relocation assistance offered; must be a commutable candidate
