Overview
A patient-focused community hospital in Montana is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join its Cath Lab team. The hospital serves a welcoming community situated between two world-class national parks and emphasizes collaborative, compassionate care in its diagnostic and interventional cardiac services.
What you'll do
- Assist physicians in managing diagnostic and interventional procedures by scrubbing and managing the sterile field
- Monitor and report hemodynamic data throughout procedures
- Perform X-ray duties, routine or delegated, in accordance with Cath Lab standards and policies
- Operate under the direction of Cardiologists, the Cath Lab Manager, Anesthesia, and R.N. Circulators
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage electronic files in compliance with departmental standards
- Uphold safety protocols including proper handling of chemicals and blood-borne pathogen precautions
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience, or graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular program
- Current BLS Certification
Preferred qualifications
- Completion of the Cardiovascular Science Exam
- Completion of the Cardiovascular Invasive Registry Exam
- Current RCIS Registration
- ACLS Certification (recommended)
