Overview
A patient-centered community hospital located in a welcoming Montana town between two world-class national parks is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse. This role is central to delivering safe, effective cardiac procedural care within a collaborative team environment focused on compassionate patient outcomes.
What you'll do
- Ensure proper performance and maintenance of the Cath Lab environment
- Assess patient needs and promote high-quality care throughout procedures
- Provide and maintain a safe surgical environment while circulating
- Collaborate with Cardiologists, the Cath Lab Manager, and Anesthesia teams
- Monitor patients and respond promptly to changes in clinical status
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage electronic records
- Uphold safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and blood-borne pathogen precautions
- Flex hours to cover shifts as procedural volume demands, including call
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years direct Cath Lab experience as an RN
- Current RN licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification
- Strong knowledge of professional nursing and coronary care nursing practices
