Overview

A Critical Access Hospital in rural Eastern Oregon is seeking a Cardiologist to join its growing specialty team. This is a permanent, full-time position working Four 10-Hour Days on day shift, based in La Grande, OR, offering the chance to build a meaningful cardiology practice while enjoying an exceptional outdoor lifestyle and strong work-life balance. What you'll do

  • Provide high-quality outpatient and consultative inpatient cardiovascular care
  • Perform and interpret non-invasive studies including Echo, Stress testing, and EKG/Holter monitoring
  • Manage long-term cardiac conditions for the local population
  • Supervise stress testing in the co-located Respiratory Therapy department
  • Interpret cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports
  • Manage implantable cardiac devices
  • Perform minor procedures including implantation/removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE
  • Partner with primary care providers and the hospitalist team to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Help shape the future of cardiac services within a growing rural healthcare system

What you'll need

  • MD from an accredited school
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiology Fellowship
  • Active, unrestricted State Medical License
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Strong skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a community-oriented environment

Compensation and benefits

  • Compensation: $600K - $670K+ per year
  • Competitive total compensation opportunity (670k+) including quality incentives up to $70k
  • RVU bonus based on annual threshold
  • Commencement bonus of $70k
  • $8,000 annual CME, licensing, dues, subscription, plus paid CME time
