Location: La Grande, OR (Rural Eastern Oregon) | Schedule: Full-Time, Permanent, Four 10-Hour Days, Day Shift | Compensation: $600K - $670K+ per year

Overview

A Critical Access Hospital in rural Eastern Oregon is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to join its growing specialty team. The hospital offers state-of-the-art diagnostic tools including onsite Echo, EKG, and Stress testing, and the role provides an opportunity to build a meaningful practice while making a significant impact on cardiac health in the surrounding community.

What you'll do

• Provide high-quality outpatient and consultative inpatient cardiovascular care
• Perform and interpret non-invasive studies including echocardiograms, stress tests, and EKG/Holter monitoring
• Manage long-term cardiac conditions for the local population
• Supervise stress testing in the co-located Respiratory Therapy department
• Interpret cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports
• Manage implantable cardiac devices
• Perform minor procedures including implantation/removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE
• Partner with primary care providers and the hospitalist team to ensure seamless transitions of care
• Help shape the future of cardiac services within a growing rural healthcare system

Required qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited school
• Completion of an accredited Cardiology Fellowship
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Strong skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a community-oriented environment

Compensation and benefits

• Competitive total compensation opportunity ($670k+) including quality incentives up to $70k
• RVU bonus based on annual threshold
