Overview
An established heavy industrial manufacturer operating a large aluminum foundry complex is seeking an EH&S Manager to lead safety and environmental initiatives across its operation. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role partners with employees and leaders throughout the facility to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and build a safer, stronger workplace culture.
What you'll do
- Identify and address workplace hazards and recommend improvements
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure OSHA and environmental compliance
- Manage regulatory reporting, record keeping, and SDS documentation
- Maintain emergency response plans
- Lead safety training, including new-hire orientation
- Partner with all areas of the business to build a strong safety culture
Required qualifications
- 3–5 years of EH&S experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Understanding of manufacturing and production processes
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to operate mobile and stationary equipment
Preferred qualifications
- Foundry experience is a plus
- Degree preferred, but not required
