Overview

An established outpatient clinical care provider is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its treatment team. This organization emphasizes quality care and a respectful, team-oriented environment, and this role is central to delivering hands-on rehabilitative support to patients under physician and therapist direction.

What you'll do

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Document patient activities and charges using proper medical terminology in a timely manner
• Maintain respectful, clear communication with patients, families, and medical staff
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations

Required qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program
• Current valid State license/registration
• CPR certification
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently
• Ability to stand/walk for the majority of a shift
• Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening skills
