Overview
An established, highly regarded healthcare system in Northwest Indiana is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join its growing, physician-led group practice. Located just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, this role offers a busy clinical subspecialty practice, high-tech hospital infrastructure, and strong work-life balance within a HIMSS Stage VII environment featuring full EPIC EHR integration with modern AI functionality. The successful candidate will collaborate with a collegial team of physicians and advanced practice providers eager to support the development of a thriving endocrinology panel tailored to their clinical interests.
What you'll do
- Provide comprehensive outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing management for adult endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic health
- Perform thyroid ultrasound and fine-needle aspirations (FNA) as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary network of primary care providers, surgeons, bariatric specialists, and diabetes educators
- Utilize cutting-edge clinical tools and EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and health system quality improvement initiatives
- Foster strong, long-term provider-patient relationships through individualized care planning
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO)
- Fellowship-trained in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for state licensure within 90–120 days)
- Strong interest in managing complex endocrinology cases with a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Open to H-1B applicants who meet all federal requirements and possess an unrestricted Indiana medical license
