Overview

A global law firm with over a century of history is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Insolvency & Restructuring practice at its midtown New York, NY office. This is a hybrid role offering the opportunity to work alongside attorneys across the firm on complex restructuring matters.

What you'll do

• Represent debtors, ad hoc and statutory committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers, and other constituents in Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings, including cross-border matters
• Serve as an integral member of high-performing, collaborative teams
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with attorneys across various practice groups within the firm

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of restructuring experience
• Deposition and trial preparation experience is a plus
• Strong record of academic and professional excellence
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional research, analytical, and writing abilities
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York Bar, active and in good standing
• Must have attended a top 50 law school
• Must have worked at an AmLaw 200 law firm
• Submission of a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and writing sample required for consideration

Compensation and benefits

• Expected salary: $235,000 - $310,000, plus bonus, depending on experience
