Overview
A supplier of CNC machinery, Swiss tooling, and machine accessories is seeking a Technical Sales Representative. This role blends hands-on knowledge of Swiss machining with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend the right tooling and work holding solutions, making it a key link between technical expertise and the sales process.
What you'll do
- Advise customers and internal teams on Swiss machining processes, tool holding, work holding, and machine tooling
- Evaluate customer applications and recommend products that fit their technical requirements
- Respond to requests for product information and support sales conversations with practical machining knowledge
- Stay current on Swiss CNC tooling developments, customer needs, and competing products
- Work closely with customer service and marketing colleagues
- Represent the business at trade shows as required
Required qualifications
- At least three years of technical sales experience or equivalent relevant experience
- At least two years of experience with Swiss CNC machinery
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with a team
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel as required
Preferred qualifications
- Swiss machining tooling industry experience preferred; closely related experience will be considered
