Overview
A privately-owned medical device manufacturer in east Tennessee is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager (Electrical) to lead a team of electrical and mechanical engineers in the development of advanced electromechanical systems for medical applications. This role is central to the design, testing, safety compliance, and production of complex, cutting-edge medical devices.
What you'll do
- Lead a team of EEs and MEs through the development of high-tech electromechanical systems
- Support development, testing, safety compliance, and production of electromechanical systems for medical applications
- Oversee designs involving high-power RF amplifiers, high-voltage and high-current power supplies
- Mentor and continue developing engineering talent within the team
- Operate effectively in a small team, high-impact environment
- Function primarily in a high-view leadership capacity, with occasional deep dives into specific projects
Required qualifications
- BSEE or MSEE degree
- 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in the medical device industry
