Overview
A well-established and growing healthcare provider in Northwest Indiana is seeking a full-time Rheumatologist to join its team in Munster, IN. The organization emphasizes physician well-being and sustainable work-life balance, and is recognized as one of the few facilities nationally to achieve HIMSS Stage VII status for its technology infrastructure. This is an on-site role with a Monday through Friday schedule and a 1:3 call rotation.
What you'll do
- Provide specialized diagnostic, treatment, and management services for a full range of autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, and vasculitis.
- Manage a high-volume outpatient clinic with an emphasis on chronic disease management and complex multi-system autoimmune cases.
- Oversee in-office infusion services, including administration and monitoring of biologic therapies.
- Perform clinical procedures such as joint aspirations, ultrasound-guided injections, and soft tissue injections as part of comprehensive treatment plans.
- Educate patients on long-term disease progression, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications.
What you'll need
- Board Certified in Rheumatology, or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
- Possession of, or eligibility for, an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
- Experience with or aptitude for using EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary range of $265,000 – $345,000 per year, with a highly competitive offer negotiable under MGMA guidelines.
