Overview
An established chemical supplier with a long operating history serving stable, essential industries is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a small plant of about 10 employees in Omaha, NE. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing day-to-day operations, safety, and performance at the site.
What you'll do
- Serve as the overall leader for the plant site, reporting to a regional manager
- Work directly on the floor with operations and hourly personnel
- Drive high safety standards and strong operational performance
- Travel minimally as needed for the role
Required qualifications
- Previous management experience with a strong leadership background
- Experience in the chemicals industry, ideally chemical distribution
- Understanding of DOT/TCEQ regulations
Preferred qualifications
- Previous PSM (process safety management) experience is a huge plus
