Overview
An experienced Occupational Therapist is needed to join the therapy team at a well-established, community-focused rehabilitation center in Fredericktown, OH. This is a Full-Time, 40 hrs. role offering a balanced caseload split evenly between pediatric and inpatient settings, working Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
What you'll do
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy to help patients achieve maximum functional outcomes
- Provide care across the full age spectrum — neonate through geriatric
- Treat orthopedic and neurological conditions in both inpatient and pediatric settings (50% Peds / 50% Inpatient)
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT students
- Ensure ongoing compliance with standards of practice, payer regulations, and facility policies
- Apply critical thinking to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Maintain professional, courteous communication and customer service
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members and departments
- Support daily operations and data collection within the medical fitness center
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
- Current, active Ohio Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Current CPR certification (required)
- Strong working knowledge of OT practices across inpatient and pediatric settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills
- Commitment to patient safety and professional standards of practice
- Ability to work variable days and hours as needed
Compensation and benefits
- $38-49/hr (between $38,000 and $49,000 annualized pay range) plus $20K SOB
- $20,000 sign-on bonus with 2-year contract
