Overview
An established manufacturing company is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team. This role focuses on full lifecycle recruiting for salaried employees across engineering, operations, management, and corporate functions in a fast-paced industrial environment, playing a key role in connecting top talent with the right opportunities.
What you'll do
- Manage full lifecycle recruitment for salaried positions across multiple manufacturing functions
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, workforce needs, and long-term talent goals
- Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a high-quality and efficient recruitment process
- Build and maintain pipelines of top talent using internal databases, job boards, social media, and professional networks
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and HR partners
- Support employer branding initiatives and promote the organization as an employer of choice within the manufacturing industry
- Stay current on labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and best practices in talent acquisition
- Track and report recruiting metrics to identify improvement areas and drive process enhancements
- Participate in campus recruiting programs, industry events, and professional associations to identify candidates
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 3–7 years of recruiting experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings, with a focus on salaried employees
- Proven experience managing full lifecycle recruiting for engineering, technical, professional, and managerial roles
- Strong sourcing skills, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting software
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver results under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in hiring
Preferred qualifications
- Global experience recruiting for engineering, operations, and technical roles in a manufacturing environment; experience in Canada and/or Mexico is a plus
- Familiarity with workforce planning and talent pipeline development
- Experience with employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing strategies
Compensation and benefits
- Typical pay range: $95k – $120k annually (based on skills, experience, and qualifications)
