Location: Hobart, IN | Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, flexible schedule, 1:7 call rotation | Compensation: $450k–$615k per year

Overview

A well-established and expanding healthcare provider in Northwest Indiana, recognized as a technologically advanced health system, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join its growing team. What you'll do

  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary (liver) disorders
  • See 20-30 clinic patients per day
  • See 10-15 hospital patients per day
  • Participate in a 1:7 call rotation
  • Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in outpatient and hospital settings to diagnose and treat digestive diseases
  • Manage a high-volume clinical practice, coordinating longitudinal care for chronic conditions like IBD and liver disease
  • Collaborate with surgical and primary care teams to ensure integrated treatment plans and timely screenings

Required qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible, with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe
  • Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
  • Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Open to H-1B applicants who meet all federal requirements and possess an unrestricted Indiana medical license
