Overview

An established organization with active facilities and construction operations is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Site Superintendent to oversee maintenance, installation, and consulting support for building and infrastructure projects. This role is central to managing new construction, renovations, sustainability upgrades, and regulatory compliance efforts across facilities.

What you'll do

• Conduct daily check-ins on construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Provide input on budgets, cost estimates, and project financials
• Work with the Department Manager to maintain project schedules in alignment with facility requirements
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Coordinate with employees, management, contractors, and facility representatives to minimize disruption to operations
• Provide accurate project reporting, forecasting, and progress updates
• Support project teams by fostering collaboration and accountability
• Manage daily maintenance tasks using MaintainX
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks as needed to ensure on-time delivery and operational continuity
• Maintain availability for on-call support to address urgent maintenance needs and minimize downtime

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in active production environments
• Knowledge of building codes and safety protocols
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Great attention to detail, quality, and excellence

Preferred qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is of benefit
