Overview
A prominent law firm is seeking a mid-level Construction Associate Attorney to join its expanding Construction Litigation Practice. This hybrid role is based in Orlando, FL, and offers the chance to take on meaningful responsibility while working with a diverse client base on high-stakes construction disputes in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
What you'll do
- Represent clients in construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, and delay-related litigation
- Draft sophisticated litigation-related documents with precision and strategic insight
- Manage discovery, including document review, depositions, and expert witness coordination
- Conduct legal research and case analysis to develop effective litigation strategies
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation
What you'll need
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
- 5-7 years of substantive construction litigation experience, with a focus on personal injury matters
- Demonstrated experience drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
- Experience handling discovery processes and depositions
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a client-service mindset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Compensation and benefits
- Expected annual salary range of $160,000-$170,000, as determined by experience and market factors
- Eligibility for profit-sharing and a discretionary bonus
