Overview
A growing CPA firm is seeking an Audit Manager to lead and manage multiple audit and review engagements across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, and distribution. This role serves as a trusted advisor to privately held companies, helping guide business and process improvements while ensuring high-quality client service.
What you'll do
- Manage and plan audit and review engagements
- Apply technical knowledge of GAAP and GAAS to research and resolve accounting issues
- Coordinate services across client family groups to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Supervise, train, and mentor associates
- Participate in networking and business development activities
- Earn financial incentives for referrals and business growth
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of audit and review experience with privately held and not-for-profit organizations
- Active CPA license
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills
- Professionalism, integrity, and dedication to outstanding client service
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Primarily local travel within the Phoenix metro area
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Knowledge Coach and Engagement software a plus
