Overview
A privately-owned medical device manufacturer in east Tennessee is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical and mechanical engineers in the development of high-tech electromechanical systems. This role supports the development, testing, safety compliance, and production of electromechanical systems for medical applications, working on complex, cutting-edge devices.
What you'll do
- Lead a team of EE's and ME's in the design and development of electromechanical medical systems
- Oversee development, testing, and safety compliance of products
- Support production of electromechanical systems for medical applications
- Work on complex designs involving high-power RF amplifiers, high-voltage and high-current power supplies
- Continue developing and mentoring engineering talent
- Operate effectively in a small team, high-impact environment
- Maintain a primarily high-level oversight role, with occasional deeper involvement in specific projects
Required qualifications
- BSEE or MSEE degree
- 10+ years of Engineering Management experience in the medical device industry
- Experience with complex, cutting-edge medical device designs involving high-power RF amplifiers, high-voltage and high-current power supplies
