Overview

A large, well-established law firm is seeking a litigation Associate to join its Construction Litigation Practice Group in Tampa. The associate will work closely with two Board Certified Construction partners who represent a wide variety of clients in complex, large-dollar construction disputes. This is an opportunity to become an integral member of a dynamic construction litigation practice, gaining responsibility, client interaction, and trial experience.

What you'll do

• Handle complex, large-dollar construction litigation matters
• Cover hearings and depositions independently
• Work closely with Board Certified Construction partners
• Collaborate within a team-oriented litigation practice
• Interact directly with clients and build case strategy

Required qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of litigation experience
• Member of the Florida Bar
• Ability to work in-office in Tampa, FL
• Comfortable appearing in court and handling hearings/depositions independently
• Strong organizational skills and diligence

Preferred qualifications

• Top academic credentials preferred
• Excellent litigation skills highly preferred
• Relevant complex litigation experience, ideally with a focus on construction matters
