Overview

A respected construction organization known for delivering large-scale transportation and infrastructure projects is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support major initiatives in the Los Angeles area. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced construction team on complex, high-profile builds, and is ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical or transportation-related construction who thrives in a fast-paced, technically driven environment.

What you'll do

• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in coordinating overall project execution
• Manage project documentation and support schedule performance
• Manage and process change proposals, change orders, and owner payment applications
• Track job costs, prepare quantity and labor cost reports, and support quarterly profit analysis
• Coordinate and lead the project closeout process, ensuring documentation and deliverables are completed accurately
• Research and propose quality control solutions
• Maintain clear communication between the field, clients, and project management to support budget, quality, and safety objectives

Required qualifications

• Strong background in electrical or transportation-related construction
• Experience supporting large-scale, complex construction projects
• Ability to manage cost controls, documentation, and project closeout processes

Compensation and benefits

• Salary range: $150,000 – $180,000, based on experience and qualifications
