Overview

A well-established and expanding healthcare provider in Northwest Indiana is seeking a full-time Colorectal Surgeon to join its team in Hobart, IN. The role offers flexibility to design your practice around your professional goals, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 1:6 call rotation.

What you'll do

  • Diagnose and surgically treat disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus
  • See approximately 20 clinic patients per day
  • Participate in a 1:6 call rotation
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Provide diligent post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcome tracking
  • Utilize minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery (e.g., DaVinci platform)
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic screenings, including colonoscopies and endoscopies
  • Manage complex anorectal conditions

What you'll need

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible, with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe
  • Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
  • Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists
  • Open to H-1B applicants who meet all federal requirements and possess an unrestricted Indiana medical license

Compensation and benefits

  • Compensation: $380,000 – $495,000 per year
