Overview
A physician-led, multi-specialty medical group in Nassau County, Long Island is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join its growing, outpatient-focused team. The practice is known for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and strong multidisciplinary collaboration.
What you'll do
- Serve as a key clinical provider delivering high-quality, comprehensive care within a full-scope specialty practice
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments, including history taking, physical exams, and interpretation of labs, imaging, and pathology reports
- Manage a high-volume, diverse outpatient population within a supportive, multi-specialty group
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions, including IBD, IBS, liver disease, motility disorders, and biliary tract diseases
- Develop individualized treatment plans combining pharmacological interventions and lifestyle modifications
- Perform and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopies and EGDs
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records to support clinical workflow and patient safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, including surgeons, oncologists, and primary care providers
- Promote preventive health strategies, including cancer screening and chronic disease management
- Participate in ongoing medical education and clinical practice improvement efforts
What you'll need
- Active Board Certification (or Board Eligibility with a clear path to certification) in Neurology
- Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in New York State
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented, patient-centered approach to care
- Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base
- Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus
Compensation and benefits
- $300,000 - $375,000 per year
- Flexible hours, Monday–Friday, no call
